Since this year is coming to an end, here is one important learning that I want to share with my network.

💡Work intentionally, not hard. 💡

People often say that success comes from working hard, skipping social gatherings, skipping meals, ignoring life in general. I challenge you to rethink that. When we work hard, we get exhausted, our brain is drained, and we have 0 willpower. Working hard is a myth.

Why? For the obvious reason that we are living organisms and not machines.

Our brain works better when we are calm when our body is rested and well nurtured with quality food. Working hard and under pressure will give you A solution, but not the BEST solution. The most creative moments come when we enjoy ourselves, see the bigger picture, and talk to friends (the best solutions to a problem come when we share it with others).

Working intentionally creates better results.

Why? Because you have a purpose. Because you value more quality outcome than quantity. Because you enjoy your work and respect yourself (the creator) by taking care of yourself. Because you know that the best way to achieve success is by seeing the big picture and realizing that if YOU are not okay, NOTHING will be.

Spend time with your families, friends, pets. Go for a walk. Spend a day in a cafe just reading a book, talking to people and enjoying life.

Jobs, careers, and companies will be there tomorrow…. but you and I one day will be not.
